This is a hard red wheat which makes great bread flour. We sell it at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco every Saturday. This years crop is loving the cool weather. We will harvest this crop at the end of June.
We have six other wheat varieties in the field this year. There is a Soft variety, for pastry flour. Durum wheat for pasta and other heirloom varieties. We hope to have a full range of flours at the market by the end of July.
