I just looked at the ten day forecast for the farm and looks like wonderful first week of April or late March weather. Sunny, with showers and temperatures in the low 70's.
We would like to be planting sweet Potatoes, they are delayed because of the weather. Our Strawberry harvest is moving along very slowly, too cool to ripen the berries fast enough.
The potatoes and the spinach look fantastic, the garlic is as big as we have ever had. I have carrot seed and parsnip seed ready to plant tomorrow. Normally it is too hot to sow and germinate these crops now but with ten days with temperatures below 75 F this year is different.
A challenging year.... Nigel
Parsnips!! I am so thrilled!
